  • Today when using Service Request you can retrieve parameters sent via JobSumit by using GetHttpHeaderValues function. It would be good to be able to send back information in the same way with the Service Response, ex via a new SetHttpHeaderValues function or via Stored Variables.

The same goes for the Service Call out connector. When sending information to another StreamServe message/project with Service Call you might want to use information retrieved via HttpHeaderValues in the second message. The only way of doing this today is by modifying the output stream you are sending, but it would be good to be able to send information ex via a SetHttpHeaderValues function or via Stored Variables.

It would also be good to be able to use more information in the response to the JobSubmit request than the actual output which is the only thing delivered back today.

    Benefits

A complete stream with parameters would not only be sent in but also retrieved as a response, with parameters. Also the Service Call would need the enhancement to be able to route parameters and not only data.

Implement a SetHttpHeaderValues function that allow you to set parameters to be sent via Service Call or as a response back to the JobSubmit call.

I guess it would also be possible to use Stored Variables for this (even though its not for DocBroker).
