5.6 - Composition Center - Templates not visible

Hi there, I have just installed 5.6 on WIN2012 with Composition Center.

I have published a service / gateway with the included CC template project with welcome letter and so on and when I get to Composition Center I cannot see my document type as a template. The list is blank.

I can see the doc type in the DBAT no problem with all keys.

I have tried with Tomcat7 and JRE7 (64 bit) no success. I have also tried Tomcat6 with JRE6 (32 bit) also without success.

I have also tried to configure the scheduled task to synchronise templates. No success.

I also tried with a new project configuration (with CC) from scratch. No success.

I have tried rebooting the image too - several times. No success.

Are there any tips out there to get the templates in the dropdown box in Composition Center?

    Many thanks for any pointers.

    Vyv

Well I got the solution now. Many thanks to Peter Grill.

My processes were not enabled in runtime.

    I feel stupid!

Thanks to all for the help.

Tim - how is it going for you?

Hi, I am having the same problem running on Windows 2008 R2.

Everything appears to be ok from the DB Admin tool but the templates don't appear in Composition Centre. Have you managed to fix this or do you have any ideas I can try?

    Thanks

I am banging my head against the wall on this one. Sorry - I have no answer.

Can you tell me which versions of strs, tomcat / java you run this with?

A BIG thanks for letting me know that I am not alone.

I am running v5.6 of streamserve. I have tomcat 6 and Java 6 installed.

I did have some test templates set up in a different project, but now it just won't work

    Hi Tim & Vyv,

Have you tried 32bit JRE6 and 32bit Tomcat6 for Streamstudio?

Hey Vyv...Tomcat 6 can be either 32 OR 64 bit so I cannot determine that from your first post. I suspect you tried 64bit Tomcat w/ 32bit JRE. Can you confirm :)?

It was 32 bit JRE6 and therefore 32 bit Tomcat6.

I have now replicated this in 2 systems unfortunately.

I had the same situation at a customer site running 5.6. A tomcat restart did the trick, but this can't really be of any help to you Vyv since you tried reboots.

    Does streamstudio.log have any warnings/errors?

I have managed to get a template into composition centre. To do it I dropped the runtime repository and the web repository.

Since recreating it I have managed to add a new templateso it appears to be working ok, unfortunately I have no idea why this fixed the problem, but it might be worth recreating your DB's to see if that will help
