Hello,

I have some problems selecting documetns from my post processor repository (docbroker+ on oracle). I need to make a selection based on some metadata criteria but all my efforts have failed and I suspect that it is because my metadata has a space in the name, but from what I can see in the documentation that should be ok. I have tried to encapsulate the metadata name with both &qout; and ' but that did not work. Any suggestions? This is in SP5

Thanks

Camilla

<database server="" name="" user="" password="">
<docset metainfo="'EF KampanjID'="0002""/>
</database>
</s-dbs>

Hello,

spaces are supported in metadata names, and when I used the dbq tool to create a ppq file it worked fine. Good to know - as it will make it "prettier" for e.g composition center users instead of using _ in the names.

Hi Camilla,

Did you try to use the GUID from the metadata field ?

Regards,

Hi,

try to remove the server, name user and password from the database tag:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<s-dbs action="process">
<database>
<docset metainfo="'EF KampanjID'="0002""/>
</database>
</s-dbs>

Hi,

The issue here is that you have spaces in your metadata. We dont support spaces in Metadata names.

Try to recreate the metadata name and use underscore or dash then you will see it is working.
