    got the whole thing working.

    A few tips:
    - Use Java 6
    - Provide enough memory
    - First implement and start the project that has the service connectors for the preview, then make the preview task.

As soon as I have time I will write an article on the production monitor, till now I'm very impressed with this module. Very powerfull and versatile.

Sure. Here you have some tips:

    • Always define database index for your searchs.
    • Use a dedicated StreamServe metadata field (like "DocumentStatus" or similar) to track the document life cycle (for example "New" -> "Printing" -> "Printed" -> "Distributed" -> "Archiving" -> "Archive"). This is also a simple "document workflow".
    • Display as few metadata as posible in your views (more than 7 makes the web interface looks crowded and make it useles)
    • Create dedicated views for your most common search and provide usefull names (like "Pending Letters", "Archived Invioces", etc).

    Hope this helps.
