Hi,
My SP5 Composition Center/Control Center does not connect with LDAP on port 636, however is able to connect on port 389.
Port 636 is open and I can make connection using a java program. However, When I try to make connection with Control Center, it does not connect on port 636. It returns error :LDAP Error 81 (Can't connet with Ldap server).
Please help.

Hi,
Is port 636 the default port for secure connections? If I remember correctly, only connections to the unsecured ports are possible.
Hopefully someone will say that I'm wrong but until then would you try 389?

Hello David,
Port 636 is default port for secured connections. I am able to make connection on 389 (non secured port). It it does not support port 636 at all then I need Open Text to confirm to it.
Please help and suggest if anyway possible.
