In Design Center, you can add someting called Custom Settings under Edit > Custom Settings.

What can be added here? Any examples out there?

    Thanks,

Really nice question! I know of 2.

    1. HTTP Inconnector - there you can place additional controls for the listener port. A little info on this is available in the old training material.
    2. Platform - Additional settings for the Reporter function. This is covered within the set up guide.

One thing that I know you can use it for is the Communication Reporter. It will help us count the transactions.

The custom settings provides a method for configuring functionality in the StreamServer that doesn't have GUI options available. Custom options are rarelly documented and there are several reasons for that.

    • The feature may be experimental.
    • The The DC configuration for the option was not ready in time for the release.
    • The functionality was shipped in a server-only release (some hotfixes works like that)
    • The feature is targeted at a particular customer, partner or OEM.
